Laura Di Martino: Curator and Researcher
Laura Di Martino is a retired Languages and History teacher with a passionate interest in all things culture, travel, food and creative art. Born in Belgium, of Italian descent, in her writing, Laura is inspired by her adored Adelaide home and its stories.Her first Historical Fiction novel, ‘Cremona House,’ was published in 2025: a deep, heart-warming exploration of the early years of Italian migration to Adelaide (1905-1950), told through the eyes of an ice-cream maker. A New Adult novel, ‘Working it out,’ released in late 2025, tells the tale of the Italian sisterhood through a year in the life of two sets of sisters in their early twenties.
Claudia Callisto: Curator and Promotions
Claudia Callisto is an Italian-Australian Cultural Storyteller.
She is the best-selling author of the memoir ‘The Good Italian Girl’ which describes growing up in Adelaide in the 1980s as a daughter of immigrant parents and the ‘unwritten cultural rules’ faced by many girls of her generation.
She is also a Fringe Show Creator and Performing Artist, the Podcast Creator and Host of ‘The Good Italian Girl and friends’, Curator of the 'Live and Love the Italian way' Photography Exhibition by John Callisto, co-curator of the Italian Glory boxes of love Exhibition, owner of the T-shirt label '2 naps talking Adelaide' and co- founder of Shining Light

Mariel Kempt: Graphic Designer
Mariel Kempt has been an artist from a young age and now she’s graduated from UniSA with a degree in Product Design. She is a freelance graphic designer with openings available to help with any designing needs. She makes websites, book covers & promotional/packaging/branding material.
